That Weight Game.

So hi...
I've mentioned it many times but one thing that extremely hinders my self esteem, confidence and basically all aspects of my life is my weight. It's something that has always worried me, like I feel it does with a huge number of people.
It really changes a lot, but recently I'm just felt worse about it and it's getting to a point where I kinda feel a little sick looking at myself in the mirror. yep.
So to combat this I'm going to get on my exercise game, and stop the takeaways... Dominoes is so good and my flatmates are so convincing!
Anyway.

I'm starting swimming with two of my course mates, swimming is my favourite exercise or general thing to do, I just love the water, but in my hometown there isn't a nearby pool anymore.
Birmingham is different however and I'm hoping to go once a week minimum.
Along with that, is Gyming it. I'm lucky enough to have a Gym about 1 minute's walk away from my flat and me and my flatmate have agreed to sign up together and go with the off-peak membership.
It's good because we both prefer exercising late at night and can help to encourage each other and make sure we both go. I'm wanting to do to the gym 3/4 times a week.
I'll be signing up in April when my student finance comes through but I'm actually really looking forward to it.
Then there's the eating, in terms of general meals I'm quite good, I prefer to cook for myself and rarely have ready meals. My weakness really is snacks and mindless eating. I'm definitely a boredom eater and when I'm casually at my desk or bored I'll eat or go make something.
Honestly this really shouldn't be the case, considering I have loads of things I always want to do, I'm just bad at being productive and get distracted and bored easily.
I'll probably write a progress post towards the beginning of summer, around June maybe?
where I'll hopefully be super happy about how well I'm doing, but we'll see.

Any health and fitness goals you've set yourself or recently achieved?

It's a struggle.

So hi....

This isn't going to be a very well done post, it's very impromptu and I'm literally writing it and posting it, bam done.

I just wanted to say sorry to those who do read my blog, as I've been lacking time energy and serious motivation to get my posts written and done. It's not even a matter of a lack of post ideas and inspiration, I have the ideas and plans, I really wanted to post daily september and well that was a fail. I seriously under estimated how much time it would take me to settle at uni, we're nearly a month in and I still haven't gotten into a proper routine, although this week is definitely my calmest since Ive moved back.
But I'm apart of 3/4 Different societies whch I'm trying to stay active and committed in, as well as 3 assignments already set and still recovering from my injury which leaves me quite tired quite quickly. All this just leaves me lacking in everything really, and I'm struggling to make time for my blog.

SO I just want to say here that for this week, I will be having a break, Writing up posts slowly and preparing them, With the hopes that starting next week, or maybe even the weekend I can start rolling out my posts again. I still have the #WestmidlandsBloggerMeet to tell you guys about and a super Exciting NEXT lingerie Event I was lucky enough to attend, But that is for next week.

I hope you guys can understand, and I'm thankful to every person that takes the time to read this little space of the internet of mine. I really do love my blog and the blogging community and I want to enjoy it again soon.

Thanks for reading!

2nd Year Uni aims

So hi...

With one week of uni done with, now starts the real business where the subject content starts and we get right into working on assessments and preparing for exams in January. Now that I'm starting my second year as well I have a much better Idea of what to expect and have a few goals and aims I want to achieve, built off mistakes and things I wish I did better with last year.

-Experiment more with cooking. Although I can cook a pretty good amount of things I always get lazy at uni and rarely cook anything super interesting, I'd like to try and cook something new or just more interesting than pasta/stir fry weekly.

-Learn to properly use SPSS. Last year we learn about SPSS for a lab report, and to be honest I didn't really learn how to use it properly, instead I just did what got the report done, but I want to try and seriously.

-Be more Active. This is to basically not be a completely lazy shit all year, to get out and enjoy Birmingham, even just to not put off going shop, or simply walking to uni rather than always taking the bus.

-Stay involved in chosen Societies. Similar to my October aims, but obviously intended for the whole year is my commitments to societies. I really want to stay highly involved in the Women's football, the Burlesque Society and the Rock Soc Society. I'm also apart of a few more but those one's don't tend to meet up or have socials often.

-Keep my notes updated and Separate. So last year I had all the notes for all my modules in one notebook & it was an awful idea, some people did this then organised the ripped out pages but I can't really do this myself, I end up thinking the separate pages aren't important and it feels very messy to me. So this year I have a note book for each of my different modules, organised.

-Lose weight. This would have been a pretty appropriate aims for October as well to be honest. As I was pretty immobile from July to the beginning of September due to my broken foot this meant I put on weight, Not a lot as I couldn't really eat much anyway but still more than I wanted considering I'm already not happy with my own weight. But on the plus I have already started to go back down for the last 2/3 weeks so yay.

Those are my major objectives for the next academic year, all really doable, I just have to keep motivated and not sit on my butt all the time.

Are you returning to uni? Or just starting?

Lifestyle: Long term Saving.

So hi...

Saving is something I feel everyone is doing all the time for one thing or another, me included. There are always short term and long term things people want in life and unless you're stinking rich, you gotta save towards those things, I have a pretty long List of things I want to save for in the long run, some things are only a few months to save and some are things I'll be spending the next couple of years saving for, so I thought it might be interesting to share those things with you guys, as well as the rough amounts for each.

-Sewing machine: £50-£100: I'm dying to get into proper dressmaking as I'm getting a good grip on sewing by hand but for that I'll need a sewing machine, I know IKEA does one for £40 but I'm considering saving for a slightly better and bigger one, I'll hopefully have this by December, if not then I'll be asking for one for Christmas.

-Mannequin: £20: This is nearly short term as it's not expensive but It's not necessary either which is why it's considered the long term, because I'll be waiting till I feel I can spare the £20 and it wouldn't do to better use else where. It'll be awesome for cute display purposes as well as dressmaking.

-Slow Cooker & Food Processor: £70-80: Living alone and cooking for myself for a year really made me want to get better with cooking and experiment with more recipes but I've had a few cases where I've needed a slow cooker or food processor to make the recipe properly, I'm aiming to have this early next year.

-PS4 & Xbox One: £350 odd each: These are big buys. I first wanted only the Ps4 because of Bloodborne but more and more releases are coming to Xbox One that I'm starting to think of getting one, I currently have a Xbox 360 and a laptop capable of playing most PC games. Maybe I'm just being a collector/hoarder but I want them. This will be a long time coming though because of the I don't need them thing, The PS4 will be first and if I could get another job in Brum I think I could get one mid next year some time.

-Car and Lessons: £5,000 The longest saver here, Saving for driving lessons, the needed tests and for a good car. And I most like will need even more than £5,000, but that's my aim. I'm hoping to have the lessons money mostly collected by next summer so I can hopefully learn and pass then, after that saving for a car will be dependent on my job situations but with any luck will only be 2/3 Years/

-Holidays: £1,500: So next year I'll be going on holiday 3 times, Dublin in march, Spain in the beginning of April and Amsterdam in July. It's going to be amazing but that's a lot of spending money and travel costs to cover. But they are all around £500 and If I'm well behaved with my spending and work, I should be quite set, Though these Holidays set back the rest of the long term savings options.

Nokia Lumia 725: £140: The phone I already bought and got broken in a month due to drunk people in clubs but I really adored this phone and want it again as soon as possible, It'll be another one for the Christmas list most likely.

That's my long term Saving list, I'm hoping to have 1 or 2 of them ticked off by the end of this year if I budget correctly and another 2/3 ticked off by the end of next year, It's a long process but after I tick them all off I'll have a car been on holiday a load and have the next gen consoles happily in my room. That'll be the dream eyy.

What are your long term saving Goals?

Visual Mood Boards: Food.

So hi...

Another Mood board for you all today, with the topic of food. This is a great way to inspire me to remember to eat as well and as healthy as I can, using fresh ingredients, though there is the odd burger, it's all about balance and sometimes it's nice to treat yourself to a meal out or something a little more fatty or sugary than normal.
Once again I'm using he Niice app as it's the easiest way to search and collect images online I've found, but I do have a little collage of some meals I make for myself as well.

September Aims,

So hi...

September is gonna be a bit of an odd one, it's the ending of summer for me and when I go back to uni, It's gonna be a quiet start with a super hectic end as I visit Southampton, Bedford and Sheffield and go back to Birmingham to my own flat. It's gonna be a strange one, it's also the start of my second year of uni, but I'll have a post on that close to the time! So my aims for the month of September.

1. Walk regularly & Exercise. This has been something stupidly hard to do the last 2 months, a broken bone is highly limiting, but with the healing process nearly done I'll definitely be easing myself into regular walks and exercise.

2. Get out Often. Kinda linking in with the last aim but on more of a do something other than sit inside angle, just because I've really done enough of that the last 2 months,

3.Get involved in blogger chats on twitter. I got involved in a few a while back but it's so much dedication to remember when all the chats are and keep up with the topics and stuff but I'm going to try and keep up with at least one chat.

4. Enjoy myself. This is a super personal one in that I have missed so many opportunities in life from laziness or just being too worried to do it. And I really regret that I did that to myself. So my twenties I hope will be the year of opportunities and testing my boundaries, a quote that relates to this feeling is 'Adventure starts where your comfort zone ends'

5. Don't sweat the little things. Despite the name of my blog, I really consider the little negative things way too much, I let myself overthink and ruin my happiness. I end up trying too hard to 'have fun' and end up thinking about it too much. So aiming to stop that, don't worry about people's opinions, especially if it would mean you holding back from things that make you happy.

6. Eat Clean and well. I think I'm quite a good eater generally, especially at uni, although I can't help the odd takeaway, but I'm quite well behaved, but at home, I have little control and tend to eat pretty badly, But Before I head back to uni I want to kick start my clean eating again.

7. Explore more often. This is more for the end of the month when I head to Brum but I really want to make a point of exploring my surroundings more, with Birmingham being the second biggest city in Luton I'm sure there's a load of hidden gems and things to explore, and I want to do that.

8. Fake it till you make it. This is a confidence one, I've always been super conscience of my size and body image, when I was younger I was taller and much bigger than the other kids, Although I've grown into my height and size a bit (I'm quite the shorty now) I'm still quite big I feel, But a comment made about some other people made me realize that I'm really not as big as I think I am and A new part of it is my huge lack of confidence in myself, I also really don't know how to properly dress to make the most of my body, but I'm getting there recently, and It's exciting. I'm still on that weight loss grind but not as recklessly as before.

And those are my aims for the month of September! What are your aims for this month?

The Monthly Round up: August.

So hi...

August was a pretty good month for me, The first week saw me get my cast off and instead get a boot which could be removed which was a great relief. this then meant I was itching to get out and about, The week after I was in Bath for 5 days and celebrated my birthday and a friends which was definitely the highlight of the month, As the Birmingham plan fell through. but I had a small gathering for that instead which was chill and nice, the rest of the month was quiet, a few jammy nights and outings and town visits.

I have what should be my last hospital visit for my foot next week and then I'll be in the clear, although I'm sure I'll still need to be relatively careful for the next few weeks and won't be able to go crazy or play football with my Uni for a while, but I'll be happy it's healed. September should be super fun.

How was your august?

Foot Freedom! BRB

So hi....

I may be breaking my August everyday blogging shindig. I was finally able to get my cast off Monday and it's amazing how much it's brightened my mood. It was just in time for my Birthday and for a huge number of plans and activities, so although I lost a whole month of my summer I still get to celebrate and enjoy my birthday and a friends and do a load of things.

I still have to wear a boot, but this can be taken on and off and I can actually walk on my foot without pain both when wearing the boot and when not. I'll not push my luck too much though, I wouldn't want to have 4 weeks of freedom just to end back into the cast.
ANYWAY on to blogging, I'm actually going away tomorrow (12th) Till Sunday (16th) and I won't have my laptop, as such I won't be active. Although I do have posts planned I will unfortunately miss out blogging on the 12th as I have yet to decide a post idea that I've liked and although I want to blog everyday I really don't want these posts to end up as random bad ideas posted just for the sake of getting a post up.
In total with my current planned posts I will only be missing around 4 days in August, but maybe I'll be blessed with creativity, which would be grand.

Honestly as well as making you all aware of my potential gaps in posting this month I also just wanted to share the happiness I'm currently feeling, I have the boot off now and the freedom feels so great, I had a warm bath and not having to awkwardly hang my leg out the bath was great. It's weird because I've felt annoying with how much I've talked about my broken foot but when you can't move and you can't even be independent. There's nothing else for you, your life is that broken bone, You're best topic of conversion is how long till it's gone and how you did it. It literally was in every aspect of life for the last 6 weeks, that's a long time, If I had broken this n high school it would have been my whole summer which used to feel so long.

Well if I don't see you in tomorrow's post don't miss me too much. BRB.

Sharing the Love 2#

So hi....

Another share the love post today! I'm changing it up to Youtubers and Twitters this time! This I have two different kinds of youtube channels I watch of Beauty/Fashion channels and Gaming channels I'll be sharing 5 of gaming this time and then 5 For beauty/fashion next post! Along with 5 Twitters I love to follow.

Youtube: Gaming

Cry: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCu2yrDg7wROzElRGoLQH82A
Cry has argueably the most perfect voice and he tend to play full play throughs, He always plays the games well and goes into more detail and explores more than I've found with other youtubers

Markiplier: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7_YxT-KID8kRbqZo7MyscQ
Mark, despite being one of the biggest youtubers in gaming is a new discovery for me, i tend to not want to watch or do something when everyone is obsessed with it, I don't know why but it puts me off, But I eventually watched him first through his Five nights video and have come to love him, even if he gets a little weird sometimes.

TheSw1tcher: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC84X0epDRFdTrybxEX8ZWkA
Another Play through sorta channel, This channel is made up of 4 guys, they play through a lot of different games and what I love is that they explain mechanics and story line of the game, so you finish it feeling cntent and understanding nearly everything, I watched them first playing Silent hill 2

CaptainSparklez: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCshoKvlZGZ20rVgazZp5vnQ
Although Jordan is mostly Minecraft content I love when he plays other games and his general tone and attitude to everything is pretty chill.

AchievementHunter: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsB0LwkHPWyjfZ-JwvtwEXw
These guys are a branch off from Internet company rooster teeth, They make daily videos and the collective personality and comedy between them is just gold.

Letsplay: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkxctb0jr8vwa4Do6c6su0Q
Kind still apart of Roosterteeth and Achievement Hunter This is a sub channel where all there lets plays content goes,

Twitters:
Xyrenzia: https://twitter.com/PumpkinGr1n
Pretty sure that's a randomly chosen name but this girl is kinda hilarious. I tend to follow people on twitter for relateable or funny tweets, This girl is super chill and has so much sass, I love it.

Amy / Salt and Chic: https://twitter.com/A_daawg
A blogger as well I love amy's tweets for blogging, She contributes often to chats and her general life tweets usually explain my exact feels about life, I love her style as well but that's for another post!

It's Dan: https://twitter.com/ICIWOfficial
This guy is a proper sweetie, He's a Youtuber that vlogs and makes videos with his fiance and The amount of times I've felt down and he's tweeted me, total babe.

Charlotte Hole: https://twitter.com/CHARHOLE
With a blog and youtube, Charlotte is everything I could aspire to, She has great style and fashion taste and she just Oozes confidence. She travels and seem to just know how to own life. One day that'll be me I swear!

The Dress Diaries:  https://twitter.com/dressdiaries
Another Fellow blogger here, Leanne is another babe, Her tweets make me giggle and relate to the struggles of getting ready and she's just all round Lovely!

So Those are my Picks this time!Go Share the love and enjoy!

My New Home: Flat Tour.

So Hi..

On Saturday, Despite my cast I went up to Birmingham to collect the keys to my new flat and move in a few on my bits in to lessen the load when I move in properly. I was so excited, there's a completely different feel to seeing a place as apart of a viewing and then seeing the place as your own, you completely start to think what it will be like to live there and how everyday life will be like. I even started thinking about what I'd put where and how I'd decorate my room.  also got to get the okay sign from my dad who had yet to see the place. It's been so stressful house hunting we had a house then lost it and everything seemed to go wrong, so to now have a place where the contract is signed and in effect. It's a great feeling, The bills have also been a great stress but to have that also nearly done, I'm so happy.  Thought I would share my happiness with you all and show off the flat as it is. It's a little empty right now but once me and my friends move in I'm sure it will be full of life.

This is my room, which actually already looks pretty homely with the few things I brought in. There was 1 double and 2 singles in the flat, the friends I'm staying with are a couple so I decided it was nice to let them have the double bed, Aren't I a doll? I Really like this room though and the previous tenants left a desk and chair behind, bonus.
The one downside to my room is that it Doesn't have a long mirror which I'll definitely have to get, for personal use and how else will I get any outfit photos?
This is the bath room, to the left of the photo is a cool shower bit which is super nice looking, IT's a pretty clean and nice layout. there's a decent bit of storage ability as well so we can all have bath things in the bathroom without it looking cluttered.
Pretty standard here but the hallway from the front door which goes straight into the kitchen.
The front room is huge, and super fresh looking but as you can tell, it's empty! the Sofa was left and it's pretty nice, but I'm pretty sure we're be buying a dining set to put in here as well. I think we'll also be putting my wii and maybe xbox360 here so we can all relax and play games in here.

And finally the kitchen, it's a pretty big open space as well and beautifully designed, the dark wood on the white looks gorgeous, though I know we'll have to make a real effort to keep the white floors and surfaces clean, There's tons of space though, to the point I think there'll be too much for three people to use. Not that I'm complaining ,it's tons better than the small amount we had in the accommodation. There's also a washing machine and tumble dryer, woohooooo.

And that's my new flat! I'll be visiting it in a few weeks to celebrate my 20th birthday which I'm really looking forward to!

30 day drawing challenge.

So hi...

When I was in high school I drew a lot! probably bad as it was during classes or form time, but it meant I got a lot of practice in, and this continued quite a bit into college as well, but I've all but stopped drawing now and it's rather upsetting, I miss it but I just don't know what to draw anymore. So to combat this I decided to gave myself a 30 day challenge. That is to draw daily with themes I've made to inspire me each day.
I'll probably be starting at the beginning of august so it's nicely in time with the month, though I'm also wanting to get started. I'll be posting my daily drawing to DeviantArt Once They are done probably the day after so I can upload it. I have been considering learning digital rt as well as I do own a drawing tablet. Anyway as further motivation for me I've decided to share the themes and this plan with you all as I kinda can't escape it then,
Old drawings One digital one pencil:

30 Day Themes!
Day 1 Myself
Day 2 My friends
Day 3 Scenery
Day 4 Anatomy
Day 5 Flowers
Day 6 Backgrounds
Day 7 Yoko Tattoo (Personal tattoo design)
Day 8 Guardians
Day 9 Fashion
Day 10 Seasons
Day 11 Nights Out
Day 12 Tokyo Ghoul (Anime)
Day 13 Adventure
Day 14 Vocaloid
Day 15 Love
Day 16 Sketches
Day 17 Animals
Day 18 Realistic drawings
Day 19 Colours
Day 20 In the Rain
Day 21 Angels
Day 22 Attention to details
Day 23 Getting fit
Day 24 Demons
Day 25 Summer Memories
Day 26 Intellect
Day 27 Technology
Day 28 Gods
Day 29 My favourite
Day 30 Self Portrait

And those are the different themes I've chosen, I may chose to do these 30 days on page and then once I start feeling more confident with my art and drawing abilities I may do another little 30 day challenge using my tablet.

Do you have any challenges you set yourself to build your confidence in a hobby?

Life's Unexpected smack in the face.

So hi...

You know when you're feeling super motivated about life and you're really getting into your productive groove and enjoying life and then BAM Life comes round and give you a big smack in the face that brings it all to a halt.

Well that's what happened to me Monday night. I've had such an amazing summer and done so much, I'd just gotten my third job and I was ready to balance earning money and making making memories and adventures with my friends.
This was all put to a bit of a stop when I fell off a skateboard Monday night. I was learning to ride and had actually gotten decently good, and then as I went to get off the board which was moving pretty slowly I somehow cause a great amount of pain to my foot. Living by the idea of not seeking help as it's just the way my dads taught me I got my dad to collect me from the park and just sat at home on the sofa, But the pain got worse Tuesday morning, I couldn't walk and my foot was numb and felt like dead weight from the knee down.
Dad got home from work and rushed me to a&e where I found out I had cracked a few bones, and so got a cast put on it. This was a ridiculous downer as it meant I couldn't move or do anything really. Wednesday was a depressing slow day, stuck on the sofa in an empty house with no company and feeling absolutely awful. Thursday Morning I then received a call telling me I needed to come back into hospital as they had found some other issues with the ligaments in my foot.
I rushed in to then end up waiting 3 hours to be seen, once I was I was told the injury was actually a lot worse than first thought and I would need surgery, and even with surgery I was likely to experience arthritis when I was older.
As you can imagine this isn't something a 19 year old like me really wants to hear. But I was admitted to hospital, had another scan and was told I would have the surgery the next morning, and so spent the afternoon stuck in a hospital bed. The night was rough, I couldn't sleep and was woken up often for drips and other things. The at 4am I was told I'd be prepped for surgery, which was a stupidly slow process. I wasn't ready till around 6:30. I then was visited by the doctors, who I expected would tell me about the surgery, but no,  was told that actually I didn't need surgery and the ligament issues I had been called in for were actually fine and would heal naturally. I then had to wait around from 8am till 4pm for staff to discharge me, After being told I was ready to leave at around 12.
And here I am back home writing this post, stressed, annoyed and in a giant foot cast.
I wasted Thursday and Friday being panicked for no reason.

This also meant I couldn't get blog posts sorted or other work things that I need to get done to earn myself a bit of a living, it was so infuriating that so much time and resources where wasted while I was wrongly in hospital.
So I'll be home bound and immobile for about 4 weeks the doctors told me, This is a lot of the 'core' part of summer, which is so upsetting, while my friends are out and enjoying themselves i'm stuck here feeling a little down and unmotivated.
I will at least be able to go out for my birthday still and will have the end of august to enjoy the rest of the Summer but I can't help but feel a little disappointed, Accidents are expected with skating however and that's something I have to deal with.

At the very least I get to boss people around and my friends are lovely enough to come visit me and have a chilled night at mine, so I don't feel to left out!
Jordine even has often to bring me up a Mcdonalds one day the babe.

Have you ever broken a bone that's really effected your motivation and drive?

July Goals

So hi...

I really like to set goals for myself at the beginning of each month, It allows me to give myself some perspective of what I want to achieve short term. At the beginning of June I set myself a few goals (Which you can find here) and I completed a few of them but not all ( such as the keep up blogging, major fail!).
I have a Few Goals for July anyway, Some a continuation of June, some new.

-Improve Overall fitness.
-Hold a Successful BBQ
-Become a morning person
-Draw more: Once a day challenge
- Continue Sewing practice
-Expand make-up collection & Skills

A really small amount of goals for July, just because I know I'll be working a lot during the month and don't want to give myself too much to do as I'll get annoyed at myself if I don't complete most of them, I also got a lot of June's Goals and simply want to keep it up  but didn't want to write them all here as you seen them last month!

Do you have any goals for July?

Mid Year thoughts

So hi...

So we're now midway through 2015, it's the middle of June and I can't believe how quickly this year has been going by, I've finished my first year of uni, made lovely friends, been abroad twice and it's been crazy. I also Blogged every day in may which was a super interesting experience which I was really proud of myself for doing, you may have noticed I when took a little break from posting. Though I wanted to keep a regular stream of blogging going I decided to have a little break to sort things out at home with jobs and life plans etc etc.
But I'm back on it now, and ready to power forward!
This year for me has been the best of my life so far. With the start of uni at the end of last year I really started to get into my sense of self and knowing what I want to do with the next few years of my life. My Confidence is one thing that has definitely gone up, I've stopped caring so much about other people's opinions and acted on my own wants and idea. This is everything from  my attitude to my fashion sense. I've had a complete mental re-haul. If I want to buy a dress i buy it, whereas before i'd worry about peoples opinions.
It's an amazing feeling to feel happy with yourself and feel secure with where you're heading. I know that Uni was the best decision I've made for my own progress and development and I still really hope to go into criminal therapy once I finish Uni.

As you guys know if you've been keeping up with my posts I've been abroad twice this year, I went to Paris in February with my Uni fashion Society and then to Spain, Salou a month later with my Uni Football team. It was amazing to go away and experience a different country, It light a flame for travel in me. I've also recently been catching up with Funforlouis' videos, which has inspired me even more. The travels and sights he experiences are simply outstanding. I hope to one day visit so many fantastic places.
But that'll have to be around uni for now.

So we're halfway through the year and at the beginning of Summer and I can't wait to see what the rest of this year holds for me. I'm working to earn as much as I can over Summer and Hoping to go Amsterdam for a few days towards the end of August with friends which will be incredible.

So 2015. Thanks for being so good to me! please keep it up.
How has your year gone so far?

June Goals.

So hi...

Another list type post of thing I wanna achieve or make a more active effort to try do for the month of June. This does has some similar goals as my Summer goals because it is Summer for me now but I'll keep to the different ones.

Walk More.
Get out the House 3/4 Times a week at least.
Catch up on the Scrapbook.
Keep up the regular stream of blogging.
Practice Regular Sewing.
Practice Guitar and Piano (More for Whole Summer/Year).
Wake up Earlier (At least 9/10am).
Don't sit at the Computer for more than 4 hours at a time.
Practice my Make up application & experiment.

And Those are the few goals I have for June, A few of them are more to be started in the month of June and hopefully continued, Well most of them are those sorts of goals actually but yeah.

Do you have any set goals for the month of June?

Summer Hopes & plans 2015

So hi...

List type posts are so satisfying to write, I don't know why but It's just so simple and it makes me happy making lists. Seriously you guys should see some of my notebooks, list central (there actually will be a little look into my notebooks on Saturday 23rd) Anyway, to the point of this post, Summer is nearly here, though the change of warm sun the rain recently makes summer seem so far away... But for me it is well and truly here. I finish my last exam today and tomorrow I head back to my home town and it's officially the beginning of my Summer. As my year so far I feel has gone pretty damn well I'm hoping to have a very active and exciting Summer to continue my good year. I have a number of little things I want to do, some actual activities and other just general aims I hope to achieve over the whole of summer.

- Get a Summer job (Multiple if possible) -I've actually already got a small cleaning job thanks to my sister but I really want to get a lot of experience and work for savings.
- Aim for £500 towards savings - this is related to the job thing as obviously I need a job to earn money for my savings but I'm really hoping to get at least £500 for my car savings.
- Boost creativity - Not exactly Summer related but I'll have a lot of time to do this over Summer. I really hope to get back into drawing and painting, as well singing, thinking even to return to the old Youtubes.
- Get my Dress making on. - May have mentioned this before but I really want to get a hang of dressmaking, patterns and all. So over Summer I'm really looking forward to learning sewing and creating my own clothes, Also Considering to learn knitting or crocheting.
- Get outside - Little more typical but I want to make a really strong effort to get out and about at least 3-4 days a week, whether that's with friends or just exploring things on my own.
- See the Uni people - Really want to stay in close contact with my friends I've made at Uni, They really mean a lot to me and It'd suck to not see them all Summer, Luckily we've already got a few plans and ideas which is super nice.
- Work on my Health and Fitness game - Already a work in progress this one but Summer gives so much opportunity to work on my self and own confidence and health. I've had a good head start the last few weeks of Uni and really hoping to continue this and as mentioned in the Instagram post I've put up I want to lose a bit of weight.
- Volunteer If I can for a concert or festival - This is a kinda random one I think would be amazing for experience and would just feel amazing, I obvious favourites to volunteer at would be the likes of Reading, Glastonbury and Download. But even a small time one would be super cool.
- Host or Attend A BBQ - Because how could you go the whole summer without having a BBQ?? that's right, you couldn't.
- Become more of a morning person. - I'm a super night owl. Honestly I have always had a super bad sleeping pattern, I'm one of those strange individuals who manages much better on smaller amounts of sleep. I wake up earlier and feeling better on 4/5 Hours sleep than I do 8+ hours sleep. But sleep is important so I want to try get myself up in the mornings as well as get a decent amount of sleep.
- Travel As much as I can - I'm not really talking abroad travelling here but just getting out of my home town, there's so many little places to do around Luton and even London is just up the road, So I wanna go and explore these places a lot more.
- Do want I want and be more adventurous. - I've gone through quite a few changes this year, I've really been able to 'find myself' and feel a lot more confident. A small example is my new piercings, I've wanted them for years, but worried so much about others views that I held back, now that I've got them I feel so much more confident and like my personality is being expressed better. I'm planning to continue this, say ye to more, Not worry about other others opinions and not be put down.

That's the whole of my little list of things I wanna do over the Summer this year.
What plans and hopes do you have for summer this year?

Instagram Healthy Food Diary.

So hi...

If you follow me on Instagram you may have noticed that I have been posting all my meals lately. This is because I've started to use my instagram page as a way to track what I eat and keep a food diary. Along with this I've also been following weekly meal plans that I found from Weight watchers. I decided to do all this as I've struggled with my weight most my life, or as long as I can remember. When I was born, I was actually 2 months early and so was tiny when I came out. Doctors didn't actually think I would survive and I was kept in the hospital for a while. Because of this panic my parents told me they used to give me a lot of food and things so I would grow normally and okay. Well that worked a little too well, From junior school I was bigger and a little taller than most of the other children. And although everyone shot up in their height and I didn't I still have always been what I consider pretty big. I've tried a number of things before but I never seem to shift.

This has always cause a lot of insecurities for me and although now I don't consider myself to be obese or anything ( I'm size 14 comfortably in 90% of clothing) I'm still, like most people rather unhappy with my body. So I decided to revamp. I've changed a lot of my eating habits already in the past year. I rarely drink anything but water ( and usually have about 5 bottles of water a day) and I don't tend to have processed food as I've gotten into the habit of eating fresher at uni.(minus the odd takeaway)

These still haven't been able to shift the weight I want and so here I am. after that long super personal ramble, Telling the blogging world my plans. This way I feel I'll be much more motivated to keep up to the meal plans I'm following and more motivated to generally improve my fitness and health.
Feel free to follow me on my instagram page. I may start to post my weight loss or gain after another month or so.
I'm hoping to lose around 3 stone of weight. And I think this can be done healthily in around 4-5 months, Let me know your thoughts on that?

I've also lost 8/9lbs within the last 2 weeks already purely due to the fact I got a tongue piercing, making eating solid foods quite difficult, so I didn't eat at all for about 5 days apart from the odd yogurt and soup. As I was still keeping myself busy and active I'm guessing that's the reason for the weight loss but it's a head start I guess?

With any luck I'll be writing an update post to this one with happy news and much slender fingers!

Bit over personal today but is there anything you've struggled with that you want to or have changed?

April Goals

So Hi...

Thought I would do another little goals type post. I tend to do this every now and again to show everyone where I'm sort of heading or what I'm hoping to achieve this month/season. It's not a super big list but ya know.

1: Keep up the Healthy Meal Plans! Recently I've started to keep up healthy eating through specific meal plans I've found on the weight watchers site, These were free and I have just finished a week, I could talk forever about healthy eating and my personal struggles but lets leave that for anther day! anyway I hope to upkeep this throughout the month!

2. Get outside. A little bit of an obvious one but I wanna make the most of the spring and summer season and get out and about, both at uni with the flatmates and once I'm home, this one is more whole of summer goal then only april but ya know.

3. Get More Creative!! Lately I've been feeling super uncreative, i don't draw or create as much as I used to and it sucks, I feel so drained of inspiration and creative flow, so I'm aiming to revive that.

4. Do more Fashion related posts! Don't get scared, be confident. Fashion posts are some of my favourites, how to style and personal style blogs cover maybe 40-50% of the blogs I read, I envy their fashion sense and confidence and really want to post a little more fashion along with the odd make-up and lifestyle posts.

5. Make more commitments and keep them. This is for both personal and social commitments, I feel like if i make commitments with friends, i'm more inclined to keep them I really want to give myself more commitments and things to do.

6. Stay in more frequent contact with friends and catch up more! To be honest I think I'm quite decent at this already as i tend to catch up with most friends when home but I want to keep up with it and text and talk to friends more, I really appreciate my close friends since uni.

What goals have you set for yourself this month if any? let me know in the comments below!

Starting a Uni Scrapbook.

So hi...

I've always been the type of person that envied the cute little friendship scrapbooks I'd see people do or the creativity on Tumblr and in peoples diary's and work. SO when I seen Lilly Pebbles talk about the scrapbook she had done for the year of 2014 I got super motivated. I though that since I had just gone through a major change in my life ( aka uni) that it would be the perfect opportunity to start up my own little Uni scrapbook.
I got a load of free prints from various sites. Many photo sites will give you free prints when you sign up and then it's just a small postage fee, I got about 150 in total from two different places. I then picked up a number of cute little pieces from the nearby wilko. there are all relatively cheap, I think my favourite is the little ribbons. I also want to get some nice patterned washy tape soon. So far I've gotten most of the pages for 2014 finished, I'm thinking about showing a few of the completed pages once my first uni year has been finished. It's not a super flashy or creative scrapbook, but I'm proud of it and enjoy doing it.
