Sweetie Pie: Shower... Jelly?

So hi...

Now I am a pretty big fan of lush, I currently have 5/6 things of lush I'm going through or have to use. One of these things is the Sweetie Pie shower jelly, I got it in a gift set that my sister bought me and was really just confused by it, I mean you see plenty of shower gels, creams and the like but jelly? so strange. It say's it was made in order to celebrate Lush's 10th birthday.

The lid description says:

'If a bar of soap and a bottle of shower gel had a steamy affair, this would be the resulting jelly baby.'

I also love the how to use end which says:

'Stroke our wobbly bit over your wobbly bits in the shower.'

so inappropriate sounding, I love it.
Anyway when I was first bought the gift set I kinda skimmed over this beaut, confused by the idea of it, but recently I've been trying out different beauty and skincare bits because I really don't appreciate or use all the things I have, and as I had run out of my snow fairy shower gel, this seemed like an appropriate replacement. the first shower was an awkward time of wondering what the hell to do with the jelly and trying not to drop it.

Once all that was dealt with I was pretty fond of this product, It's got a lovely cherry smell to it and the jelly itself is all glittery which is kinda cool. It does feel like it takes a while to get the soapiness going with the jelly, but once it does, it all a good time. The faint cherry smell also lingers on the skin for a long time as well which is always nice.
This is definitely going to be a firm favourite in my shower routine.

Have you ever tried out the Sweetie Pie Shower jelly? what did you think of it?
Let me know down in the comments!

Gormer Burger Kitchen Bath

So hi...
Now You may have read my last post explaining the removal of my cast and my going away to Bath for the rest of the week (I'm there currently) And as such I would be unable to post as I did not get the planned posts prepared in time
HOWEVER. I do have the blogspot app which I'm currently using, so I thought for the next few days I would do Snippets of the day,  Places we've eaten or visited, in detail as I plan to have a picture diary for Bath's adventures next Tuesday.
Today was the first day and after a long 3 hour trip we all got into the house, Natasha who is hosting us told us that we actually all have our own rooms for our stay which isnt something you expect when visiting other people.
After settling we decided to dine out at Gourmet Burger Kitchen ( Mini Review in bound )
I ordered the GBK Cheese and bacon burger without the dill pickle, with smoked Applewood cheese and an extra patty, partnered with a small skinny fries, Through the app students get 30% off their first order so all that cost me only £11, which I thought was pretty reasonable. The waiting time for the food was ridiculously short, This may have been due to the late time and lack in other customers but nevertheless impressive. The burgers looked heavenly and I am such a sucker for a good brioche bun. I couldnt actually eat the burger with the extra patty and so took a patty out to eat separate which was lovely, the cheese was perfectly melted and I felt there was just enough salad to compliment the juicy beef and bacon.
The chips definitely were skinny fries and reminded me of a cross between actually fries and the crisps french fries they were so skinny, They were gorgeous though and the small portion was just the right amount to satisfy the need for chips with a burger without overeating.
In terms of drinks I only got myself tap water as I wanted to save money but one part of me slightly regrets not getting a milkshake as some of the others ordered the Oreo milkshakes which were decently sized and looked/smelled like a milkshake of the gods.
And that's my mini review, A nice atmosphere and good music with quality food at a little more than average price, But the saying is you get what you pay for! the rest of the evening was spent relaxing and playing card games before retiring to bed, Which is where I find myself now writing this.
Tomorrow is set to be a long day, with an Investigation type Tourist visit and a house party to celebrate a birthday in the evening.
Hope you all find these mini posts acceptable as I really wanted to keep up with blogging, the quality will be slightly down due to the limitation of using only a phone for posts but I'll only write when I feel I have a topic.
Thats all for today! I'm dead.
NIGHT! See you all tomorrow!

Make up Revolution Haul & opinions

So hi...

This is quite a delayed post if I'm honest, I've had these products for quite a while now, but I can definitely give quite an honest and detailed opinion of the products as I've had time to properly test them out.

So Make-up Revolution, No words need to be said about this company as they are everywhere! They've even got a spot next to MUA in my local superdrug now. I got  these online before they got that spot however.

So the first thing I'll talk about is their lipsticks, I bought all 5 of their very bright range 'Scandalous' If I'm honest I don't know if I'll wear all of these, I'll definitely brave the Orange, Pinky colour and the Purple, However I'm unsure about the yellow and blue, I still like having the whole collection together. The quality of the lipsticks are lovely and they last quite well, Very worth the price. The whole set was in a deal for £4. I also bought the '100% vamp' Lipstick from their Vamp collection and I love it, It's definitely a 'vampy' colour but I feel I'll definitely use it in the winter and for nights out, I love it.

Next I clicked this super bright eyeshadow palette into my basket, I chose this as the experimenter in me thought I could definitely use a load of the colour for some really interesting looks, I had Halloween in mind for it as well, The pigmentation is rather good, I have to say the Grey colour was disappointing, You can't even tell it's on my arm in the photo above, but I have plenty of grey eye shadows so I'll live.

Lastly I picked up a foundation ' The Matte Effect' Foundation, I always like trying out new foundation but they tend to be so expensive for something that I might not even like. I had heard good things about this foundation and it was soooo cheap (£4 I think?) It's not a bad foundation for the price really, but definitely one for the very good skin days as it doesn't give huge coverage, But I do like to use it when I 'm feeling too lazy for full make-up as well as it gives a nice look.

And that's everything I got.

Any Makeup Revolution recommendations?

We'll talk soon lovelies!

The Bird And the Bush.

So hi...

On Sunday evening me and Ross decided to head to the pub local from his for a lunch/dinner meal, we had planned to go to town for breakfast but we did not wake up in time, opps.
If was a happy mistake if I'm honest. I was so pleasantly shocked with the Food served at The Bird and the Bush.

It is quite a cosy looking pub, very old fashioned and classic pub feel, mismatched chairs, weird patterned floors, one slot machine in the corner, it had a nice friendly atmosphere. We went up to the bar and ordered drinks, I went for mixed fruits koppaburg and Ross had a typical Strongbow. I'd just like to point out they had special glasses for the koppaburg, I've never see this, usually beer glasses are all you see but look.
I was already quite impressed, then came to ordering food, Ross went for their homemade burger with cheese, bacon and salad served with chips and salad and ordered a side of onion rings while I went for a rack of BBQ ribs with a side salad and chips. Now when we ordered we expected a normal portion side both our meals were around £10-11 mark and previous places we had eaten at didn't offer the best portions. This place however, boy oh boy, the portions were huge, the onion rings were bigger than my hand and the chips looked like four of them made up one potato, we and Ross were gobsmacked and the waitress chuckled saying 'You clearly haven't eaten here before' Everything looked divine. I must admit I partially wished I had ordered the burger, I'm such a burger girl and it looked so so tasty, My ribs also looked heavenly though glistening in sweet rich bbq sauce.
these photos were taken on my phone, so do forgive the awkward sizes and quality of them. just look at the size of those onion rings. The good thing was that not only was the portions huge and did the food look good, but it tasted amazing as well. I was highly amused as Ross tried to fit the monster of a burger in his mouth and we both happily wolfed down our meals, though I did struggle towards the end.

As you can see, empty plates and very full stomaches, after this we slowly strolled home very content. I was so surprised how good this meal was and I honestly can't wait to go back before I move to Birmingham to try that burger myself, They also do nachoes as a starter and I can only imagine how good they must be. Excuse me while I stop myself drooling. If you are ever in luton I'd thoroughly recommend this place, It's The Bird and the bush, in bushmead, luton. yum yum

Anywhere you've eaten recently that just beat all expectations?

We'll talk soon lovelies!
