The All Purpose Boots.

So hi...

When I was writing up my winter scarf post ( here) I realised that I had also got myself some winter boots, well actually I hadn't actually bought for winter, but my favourite weather ready ankle boots were starting to fall apart and I thought it was about time to get myself some new boots, and making them winter appropriate would be best.

So I went looking around town for a bit for some new boots but I really wasn't too bothered about what they looked like, I just wanted some decent, not too expensive shoes as I really should have been saving for my holiday rather than spending ( at least that's what I'm trying to do). I walked into shoe zone as they had a few for sale signs but nothing on sale was really catching my eyes as nice but long lasting. then I spotted these, They aren't super pretty or anything, and look pretty much like a workman's boots, but honestly I really like them, they keep my feet warm and are perfect in the rain or really cold weather

I think I picked these up for about £18.99, which is a pretty decent size, I've found my favourite way to wear them is with some warm tights and socks with a skirt or some shorts and a comfy baggy top, They just add a cool little bit of edginess to an outfit which I'm a great fan of. I basically wear all of these boots all the time now since the weather has been so cold and it just can't decide whether to rain or not in a day, and I don't feel like risking my other shoes. So these are pretty much my 'Winter Boots'

That Boots One.

So hi..

It's no secret that I am obsessed with boots, they are just the perfect shoes for me and you can find a boot to fit evvvery occasion, however due to poorness and wearing shoes out very quickly I've never had a little collection of boots to call my own, well my friends. Christmas and uni have changed all that. My little uni room now holds 6 gorgeous booties within it's walls and I thought I would show them off, Since they are presents mostly I can't exactly say prices etc sorry!

The Christmas Haul: what I got.

So hi...

First things first, like what most bloggers say, this is not meant to be a boast, just a little post showing generally what I was lucky enough to receive from family and friends this Christmas.

I always feel like i get way too spoilt on Christmas, but I have a very traditional family, in that we all like to spend a lot of presents on each other. And our parents still treat us like we are children on cChristmas which I can't really complain about. My main present this Christmas was a new laptop from my dad, as well as money and other bits from the rest of my family. It was a really good Christmas. I'm absolutely over the moon with my laptop. I can now even play pc games properly on steam and everything, super happy.

Black Friday Buys.

So Hi...

You may have noticed that black Friday is suddenly a very big deal in the UK now, with a ton of non america brands jumping on the discount and offer band wagon. Not that I mind too much, though honestly I don't mind the excuse to look around for some deals.
I was in Birmingham city centre to head to TheBodyShop event and had a little look around, I only got 3 things though so I didn't wanna call this a haul.

First 2 things I picked up were from primark, they weren't really in the sale but they didn't cost too much to begin with so it's fine!
The gorgeous midi-skirt was only £8 and I absolutely love the colours as well the pattern, It's not too much.
Then I found these boots, How perfect are they???? I want so many of the boots in primary but these were the best ones I found for £22. I can't wait to buy a load more after christmas. Maybe I'll do a boots haul?

Lastly was the set I got at thebodyshop, due to the 50% off deal we got it was only £13. So far I've been loving them, but I'll say more in a future post my full opinions.

OOTD: Pretty in Red

So hi...

Another OOTD, quite a simplistic outfit, very easy to throw on but I just love how it looks and the red skirt is just so pretty. It's easy to change up and add to this outfit as well, with a denim jacket for example, In the colder months to come I could add thicker tights with a nice coat and scarf.

I'm in Shoe Love!

So hi,

This won't be much of a long post, it's just a little one to show off my new boots that I picked up because I absolutely love them. I picked them up from shoe zone for £19.99. 

I am such a huge boots person, Ankle boots and any kinda boots are so beautiful. I had some boots with a similar height as these before and they were my favourite, I'm a pretty short person and the added height made me feel twice as confident. These boots are even nicer than my last as those were quite plain. 

These boots a gorgeous cut out design and the added buckles add a little bit of biker edge that I adore. Although I now only own these pair of boots I'm planning to LARGELY increase my collection and already have my eye of a few more boots in shoe zone and new look.
