So hi...
When I was in high school I drew a lot! probably bad as it was during classes or form time, but it meant I got a lot of practice in, and this continued quite a bit into college as well, but I've all but stopped drawing now and it's rather upsetting, I miss it but I just don't know what to draw anymore. So to combat this I decided to gave myself a 30 day challenge. That is to draw daily with themes I've made to inspire me each day.
I'll probably be starting at the beginning of august so it's nicely in time with the month, though I'm also wanting to get started. I'll be posting my daily drawing to DeviantArt Once They are done probably the day after so I can upload it. I have been considering learning digital rt as well as I do own a drawing tablet. Anyway as further motivation for me I've decided to share the themes and this plan with you all as I kinda can't escape it then,
Old drawings One digital one pencil:
30 Day Themes!
Day 1 Myself
Day 2 My friends
Day 3 Scenery
Day 4 Anatomy
Day 5 Flowers
Day 6 Backgrounds
Day 7 Yoko Tattoo (Personal tattoo design)
Day 8 Guardians
Day 9 Fashion
Day 10 Seasons
Day 11 Nights Out
Day 12 Tokyo Ghoul (Anime)
Day 13 Adventure
Day 14 Vocaloid
Day 15 Love
Day 16 Sketches
Day 17 Animals
Day 18 Realistic drawings
Day 19 Colours
Day 20 In the Rain
Day 21 Angels
Day 22 Attention to details
Day 23 Getting fit
Day 24 Demons
Day 25 Summer Memories
Day 26 Intellect
Day 27 Technology
Day 28 Gods
Day 29 My favourite
Day 30 Self Portrait
And those are the different themes I've chosen, I may chose to do these 30 days on page and then once I start feeling more confident with my art and drawing abilities I may do another little 30 day challenge using my tablet.
Do you have any challenges you set yourself to build your confidence in a hobby?

A Week Or So Of Make-up
So hi...
These posts are very much what it says on the tin ( or title) of me showcasing I suppose my make-up choices over a week (or so) I feel like this is a good way for me to experiment with my make-up and learn better ways to apply my make-up as well as show you guys the progress. This may go very well, or go very badly where I get super lazy in the mornings and stuff and end up not actually wearing much make-up, But we'll see, I have three or four looks for this week or so, I had 2-3 lazy days where I basically slept the day away.
We'll talk soon lovelies!

And yeaah those are the little looks I went for over maybe 2 weeks? probably a little longer, that I remembered to photograph. If you want to know all the product details I could start listing them down but ya.
Any tips on how I could improve my make-up or get a little more experimental?

Habits I Want To Make.
So hi....
I don't think I've mentioned it too much over here on my blog but if you follow me on twitter you would have probably seen my praises of how much better I've been feeling over the last 2 months or so. University has really done me a world of good, the responsibility and the whole level of control you get from being in a different city and living independently is just something that really sat well with me and due to that I've felt more and more content with myself as a person and have got a real sense for what I want out of life and where I want to go with uni and just life in general and it's super nice. In relation to that I've developed a few things that I really want to make into habits that will become apart of my everyday routine.
Morning walks. - I'm not the worse morning person but at the same time I'm not really the best. I want to get into the habit of waking up early and going for a casual little walk to wake myself up
Reading the news in the morning. - I always feel really out of the loop with news, I just don't watch the news in the mornings or really watch it in the evenings either and we don't have newspaper in the house, So I'm always unaware of whats really going on, and I just want to change that and know whats happening in the world around me.
Read a book chapter a night. - Trying to renew the little reading challenge thing that I did a few months ago but in a different way, to properly wind down before bed I want to read and just relax away from the laptop and my phone.
Learn a new skill every few months. - This is slightly random but there are so many things that I want to do and know and I think it would be amazing to spend a few months at a time dedicated to different skills I want to learn and then gradually practicing them.
Relearn to read sheet music. - I suppose this could be linked to the skills point but I used to read sheet music when I had piano and violin lessons, but over the last 3-4 years I have almost completely forgotten which I feel is a shame as I loved being able to play off of sheet music.
Read more journals for uni. - This one is not only to make sure that I feel that I've done my best in my uni work but because the course I'm doing ( Psychology and Criminology ) is something that I picked because I do find it interesting, so I want to engross myself into it as a subject and topic more than I am at the moment.
Listen to the radio in the morning. - Another random odd one, but I've been putting the radio on while i'm reading the news on my apps in the mornings to help slowly wake my self and it's just nice as casual background noise, It's especially nice recently with all the festive music, helps put me in a great mood in the mornings.
Make proper use of my time, Organize. - Quite a really general one here but I really need to make better use of my time and be a lot more productive and organised, I always think how there's not enough time in the day but really it's just that I don't make good use of the time.
Do you want to change any lifestyle changes, since It's new year, are you going along with the usual, new year new me shibang?

Personal reading challenge: August Results
So Hi...
This month wasn't really a great month for me in terms of reading, I pretty much got hardly any done.
out of the 6 shortish books I chose from the unfortunate series of events series, I only got the first two books read, shameful. I just had a pretty busy month and spent a lot of it out the house and doing things, a lot of the time I was also a little too tired to read when I got home.
If I'm honest I don't plan to set any certain books to read for September, I'll definitely finish reading the last 4 books from August but with me moving to a new place for uni, a big new city, I feel like reading will be the last thing on my mind and if I am reading it'll be textbooks and uni work, which I don't think you guys will care too much to know about. I'll definitely make sure to read a book a month at the bare minimum and when I settle into uni life I might start up this little challenge again.
How did you read anything particularly interesting this month?
We'll talk soon lovelies!

Personal Reading challenge: Results and August
So hi..
So July was pretty good for reading, although I did a lot, I also had no stress from exams and plenty of free time, so all three books were comfortably read and thoroughly enjoyed.
I have also already decided what I'm reading this month and rather than 3 books, I've chosen 6, which is the first 6 books of A Series of unfortunate events by Lemony Snicket. I don't have the whole series but I absolutely loved this story as a child, I played the games, Watched the film repeatedly and read the books. I seen these among my collection while choosing books to read for July and had my heart set on re-reading them for August.
Did anyone else love this book series as much as I did and still do?

June Personal Reading Challenge: Results And July
So Hi,
For June I said that I really wanted to try and read a lot more and had 2 and a half books chosen to read (it was meant to be 3 originally)
Now I did manage to finish both My sisters keeper and Beautiful creatures, but I am only about halfway through A thousand splendid suns. I realized choosing to give myself this challenge right during exam time probably wasn't the greatest timing and I spent a lot of my time reading textbooks more than anything, But I'd still like to make an effort to read 3 books a month. I know that's quite a small number but baby steps, I love reading and want to make it apart of my everyday routine. During June I tried to read before bed, but obviously some days I was just too tired and others I was pulling my hair out with revision and exam stress.
This month I'll once again pick some books to read and let you know how I get on.
The first book will be finishing A Thousand Splendid Suns.
The second book I chose is 'Blackbird' by Jennifer Lauck
And Thirdly 'The Evil Seed' by Joanne Harris
I have so many books that I've collected over the years and not read or forgotten about, I really do look forward to reading them all, maybe another post for another day can be my book collection.

Personal Reading challenge-June.
So Hi..
So I keep getting so out of touch with reading, college, friends and a lot of the time the internet has meant I spend rarely any time reading, and even though I try to read before I go to bed sometimes I just get too tired to read and fall straight asleep. this always upset me as I love reading, As a kid I read ridiculous mounts to the point my dad got frustrated buying more books for me every couple of days, and I feel because of all that reading it really benefited me intellectually, Like I would not have the ability to achieve if I did not spend as much of my time reading as I did.
So for the month of June I decided to give myself a challenge of reading 3 books minimum, this may seem like a pretty small amount but I don't want to go crazy until I know I'll do it and make time for it. Although One of the books I'm planning as one of the 3 I am halfway through so may add Another book so it would technically be 3 and a half books. I know which first 3 books I'm planning to read, But have yet to decide on a final one.
1st book: My Sister's Keeper-Jodi Picoult: This is the book I'm halfway through and so far I'm really loving it, the different points of view and way it's written just draws me in.
2nd book: Beautiful Creatures-Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl: I kept delaying reading this book, Starting it then losing it and then restarting a few months later, I really just need to complete it! I know its also the first of a series of books and may buy the others in the future if I enjoy it
3rd book: A Thousand Splendid Suns-Khaled Hosseni: This book was a recommendation from a friend and I'm really looking forward to reading it as it sounded really interesting when she told me about this one.
For the fourth book I might try and get a copy of ' The fault in our stars' as I'm really dying to read it, that or 'Looking for Alaska'
And yeah Once the month is up I shall come back letting you know if I managed it, I also might try to keep it up each month if I do it successfully the first time, with a number of book I have and 3 books a month.
